Undoubtedly one of the best experiences ever! Curro and Mamen were brilliant hosts. The food was out of this world and clearly they had gone to a lot of trouble. Conversation was in English and Spanish and such fun. Highly recommend this as its not a touristy thing. It' s real. 👍👍

The Seville cooking class was outstanding, so much so that we crashed David's tapas tour in Triana that evening. The travel tips alone are worth it! Thanks to Mahsa and David for a memorable day.

The tapas tour in the Triana district of Sevilla was everything we hoped for: an intimate insight into the heart and soul of a fantastic city, a culinary experience within the world of tapas - and wine - which made the rest of our stay so much more exciting and fun and an information packed extravaganza where no questions were too dumb or naive and and finally just an afternoon where you just feel like "not just another tourist". Thanks a bunch to Masha and David for that memorable day in Sevilla.

Esther, I had a wonderful time going to the market and cooking with you and learning about making some Spanish recipes. Everything was delicious! Please be sure to send the recipes! It was fun spending the time also with the family from Detroit, I think they had as much fun as I did. You were particularly excellent at keeping everyone included in all aspects of the day. Sorry David wasn't able to make it that day, but you made up for it totally! This is a really fun way to spend an afternoon in Sevilla, I totally recommend it to anyone!

Unique evening in Seville with David (rating: excellent) We were 2 couples traveling together who enjoyed dinner at home with David (Mahsa was traveling) on March 22. What a treat! We felt very welcomed as we enjoyed the starters of cheese, crackers, olives, wine, Sangria, and good conversation. David was interested in our enthusiasm for Flamenco (which we had enjoyed in Ronda the day before) and gave us a short lesson on how to play a percussion drum box, sometimes used with Flamenco. The main course included typical Andalusian dishes: gazpacho-like soup, bread, spinach with chick peas, and pisto (similar to ratatouille) - all delicious! For dessert, there was chocolate ice cream with a pinch of salt and a drizzle of orange-flavored olive oil. This was definitely not a combination I had tried before, but I'm glad I was introduced to it here. Although the food was delicious, the best part of the evening was the hospitality we received. Of David, a Seville native, we could ask anything about Spain, its people or its culture. With David's friend and associate Kirin present too, we also enjoyed hearing the perspective of a young American living and working in Spain. We loved the evening and would definitely recommend this experience to others!

Mahsa unfortunately couldn't make it, but her partner, David, accepted to receive us and proved to be himself a great host, puting us at ease straight away ! Salmorejo as a starter, and then spinach with chickpeas, prawns scampi and spanish omelet as main courses. Simply delicious ! The host, the food and the place... All was gathered for a nice Spanish evening !
